Dungeons

There are quite a lot of dungeons, I will split these up into 3 sections, “Daily/Completable”, “Recuring/Weekly” and “Team-Up” and cover what they are and the approach you want to take with them for best result

Note: If you leave a dungeon mid fight it doesn’t consume any keys!

Campaign & Soul Trials

These are a little different as they are forever going progression

There a multiple ways to tackle these but usually Stun and Slow are the better options, however Blitz/Immunity Book defensive play is also an option

These two are big players in long term progression so it is imperative you push these at least every once in a while

Daily & Completables

These are the ones that have a max reachable level that you don’t need to re-do, once you hit this max you will just sweep them every day

Having said this, until you reach the max level you just need to try to get as far as you can, if you are at your limit you can use the “Sweep” function to claim your remaining keys

(They will claim to your highest completed difficulty)

The higher you go the better the rewards, so in the early game try it everyday to see how far you can get. Below, I will go through what type of approach you want for each

Lamp Thief

Singular boss with no damage
for this you just want to have as much DPS as possible
Unlike the rest to come, the best class for this one is Warbringer

Rewards - Lamps, imperative to getting stronger earlier

Molten Ruins

Consists of 5 Dragon bosses, each stage will get slightly harder
I would recommend using a set of slow skills or stuns to keep the boss at bay while you deal your damage

Rewards - Pal Tickets, Skill Tickets, Diamonds

Chrono Tower

Waves of monsters followed by a Boss. During Boss fight there are additional damage procs
For this one I would use a similar set-up to Molten ruins but be prepared to take higher damage at the end

Rewards - Diamonds and Clock Winders!

Note: If you die in this dungeon it still claims rewards but half the value so try leave instead of dying!

Before launching this dungeon you can see a check box labelled “Auto Collecting Parts”

It is advised that you keep this turned off as it will, on average, select the worst option. Look for the things that will help you out most for example, in the image below the “Increase DMG dealt to Chrono Tyrant (The Ending Boss) by 30%” would be the best for a quicker kill!

Flame Temple

Singular boss that starts at the front and hits fast
For this one, you will want to use defensive skills such as Disarm/Blitz. Likely Immunity Book relic

Make sure to select 4 Runes from here as the RNG on these can be awful!

Rewards - Enchantment Runes, once you get to the last few difficulties you will be able to get Pink Runes, the earlier you can get to this the better

Dark Trials

This dungeon is the one that will provide the most power increase, it is best you can complete this one as early as possible
There are several versions (Warrior, Archer, Tamer, Mage) that rotate daily, so you will want to progress them all but each will all also likely require a separate build
Next difficulty unlocks after defeating it, difficulty tracked seperately per version

Rewards - Feather Coins and Divine Feather Coins

Sacred Tree Trials

Same style to flame for your setup, however, in this dungeon each boss has specific stats, such as ignores. This will make things increasingly difficult as you progress and you may want to consider going overcap Crit/Combo so the ignores matter less
Difficulties unlock based on server age
Complete all you can and then use your sweep

Rewards - Flames of Wisdom

Abyssal Portal

Available each hour for 20 minutes, this is more of a show boaty one imo as the rewards are very minimal. Do it once a day and you’ll get a few seeds etc

If you do want to try for a highscore my method to do it would be to equip everything defensive and test survivability, you will be able to find the point at which you can have the least survivabilty and still live to the end (easiest method is something like candelabrum but others work too)

If it is impossible to survive then just go as much damage as you can and unleash instantly

Blazing Cave (Family Room)

You get an attack every 8 hours and they stop counting when reaching 2, so try and not let it get there as the rewards are great

This dungeon works on chest levels 1-100, the difficulty increases per level as well as the rewards

As you progress you will start to take less damage until eventually you won’t take any at all, for this it is usually advised to go as full-dps however in early game this can be a bad method
The reasoning is that if you do too much damage too quick you boost the boss’ damage at a bad time, instead of getting 2 rounds of skills and maybe a 2nd defensive skill proc you will just die
The way to overcome this imo is just using “Take it Slow” or “Disarm”, I don’t recommend going fully defensive as you just won’t hit the same damage in the end

Once you reach level 100 in here you can use the sweep function!

Note: There are chests you can claim when you or anyone in your family does their Lava, make sure to claim these!

Note: If you die in this dungeon it still claims rewards but half the value so try leave instead of dying!

Nightmare Dungeons

The dungeon unlocks once you have reached the last level of the original version and they are essentially just more difficulties so I won’t write about sets etc as that is already mentioned, on top of this it seems the rewards are just a continuation of the original with occasional extras such as Empowerment Gears

Keys/Challenge Attempts

You get 2 keys per week and they cannot be carried across from week to week so it is best if you just use them
You can also buy 5 extra per week, I recommend you do as it’s extra resources and more “Badge Shards”

Nightmare Badge

You have a “Nightmare Badge” in the top left of the dungeons screen, you should get 1 level in there per week
Each dungeon has it’s own badge so you will want to progress the dungeon that has a good badge stat for you!

Weekly

These are the dungeons which ‘reset’ weekly

Pantheon Trial

This dungeon occurs weekly and is ranked Cross Server. There are a few things going on so I will explain them and then explain the “best” method to go about it on a points aspect

Home Page
On the home page you have a few things to note; ”Treasure Vault” this is a shop where you can spend the currency you earn. The first thing you will want to get from here is the “Sacred Tree Essence”, this is what you will use to upgrade your “Sacred Tree Blessing”

You earn these by completing runs, until this tree is complete you need to do as many runs as it takes to max the number circled at the bottom
When upgrading the tree start with the Blue nodes and leave the damage stats alone until later

There are weekly rewards on this page too, make sure these are done each week as it’s hard to earn the event currency otherwise

In the Trial
Once in the trial there a few things to note:

1. Encounter

This is where you can get extra stat boosts, hearts etc, doing these costs “Encounter Scrolls” and buying things costs “Silver Coins” - These are done through encounters such as Treasure or Wheel
In the Wheel you can also get a second Artifact/Back/Mount slot, this is the grand prize

In encounters you can also do “Olden Warbringer Encounters” these are just the last player you fought, you need to do at least one as they give some points. Out of that they give the memory bread used to copy an opponents items

Finally is Mirror (Fresh Start & Recall) fights, you assign yourself items and fight your buffed self, anything you gain item wise after the fight they won’t have but they will have your exact set even if you change, I recommend when doing points run to just give them none effecting items

2. Outfit Info
This is where you can copy items from your opponents, after copying they stay in your inventory for the duration of that run!

3. The main fights
Each fight you win will give you some extra stats and coins. Each fight you lose will take away 1 heart

The Heart Trick (Best Method)

First thing you need is to get your ‘Mirror’ fight set up. Then, progress as far as you can without dying or buying items, you will gain enough items along the way to beat Mirror if you didn’t give it good stuff

Once you reach your limit, start doing Encounters, try get your Mirror won and Olden Warbrigner fight won, these are just tick boxes for extra points. As the Treasure shops pop up check through each one for Hearts, if you see them buy as many as you can

If you have any remaining coins buy the cheapest items (more items is also more points). If you have remaining encounter scrolls, make sure to use them too as this is also a point driver

The last thing you want to do is challenge the last opponent, even if you lose, as you get points based on damage dealt to the last opponent!

This method will get you the most points possible, more often than not it will also land you high enough to get the Sky Rider passes in the ranking rewards!!

Below are Results with and without buying hearts!

Magic Theater

Magic Theater works very similarly to Blazing Cave, however there are 3 version of this boss and each may require a different approach and each will certainly be different damage reaches

For one, you just want to go full dps, the other two you may go a little bit more defensive depending how much damage you are taking

Early on it will always be full dps as the level to be hurt in here is a lot higher then lava

At the end of the week you will get Ranking Rewards based on Server and Personal placement - Personal placement is split into two parts, In server and Cross Server
The Cross Server part can give Sky Rider Passes depending on placement so it is definitely worth pushing here as much as you can

My tip would be to wait till the latter half of the week to ensure you have progressed as much as possible before doing your runs

Note: If you need to do more runs you can buy keys in Family Shop

Note: If you die in this dungeon it still claims rewards but half the value so try leave instead of dying!
