Early Game - PVP/PVE Guide

This guide is for all classes Early Game. This guide will give you basic PVP and PVE (Stages & Survival DPS) builds
For more complex/specific builds check the Plume Monarch Guide or Other Guides

This guide should take you up to around level 120

I will do 2-3 builds per class. Focusing; Stage PVE > Survival DPS > PVP

The guide will be broken down like so:

Home Page → What is relevant for all (Starting your Tech Tree etc)

Class Page → The foundations for the class (Gear, Avian etc)

Builds → Each of the 2-3 builds detailed (Pals, Skills etc)

Classes

What are the choices? What is the “Best”?
There are 4 main choices at this point, Archer (Plume), Warrior (Warbringer), Mage (Prophet) and Tamer (Beastmaster). The overall best early game class is Archer as this will maintain the strongest in PVE and if you want to just go for one class for awhile I would recommend this one for that reason

——

The Best?
There are some ways to optimise the start, however from testing it is negligible differences not worth the hassle

Warrior

Use: Best for PVP content (assuming all are archer)

Archer

Use: Best for PVE content

Tamer

Use: Its slow to start, but can be good in PVP and okay in PVE

Mage

Use: Good until around level 70, PVP wise its not bad

Basics

Here I will go through the simplest stuff that is relevant for all classes as well as some of the early game exclusive spending

Day 1 (sort of)

This is the things that come out almost straight away

Gear

For further info go here

This is the main part of your build
At the start just keep using your lamps until you reach level 16, equipping the highest rated equipment. Once you reach level 16 you can set “Auto” on as long as you have lamps

Set your Auto like so to start:

Screenshot of a game's user interface showing filters for quality, skill crit, and stun, with options selected including 'Well and above,' 'Skill Crit,' 'Any,' 'Stun,' 'Any,' and specifying four lamps used at once.

The actual affixes will depend on your class:

For Warbringer - Counter + Crit

For Archer - Combo + Crit

For Mage - Skill Crit

For Tamer - Pal Combo + Pal Crit

——

Once you reach Legendary gear I would switch your Auto to this:
(Always keep the number of lamps as your highest)

Video game settings menu with filters for quality set to "Legendary and above," skill crit set to "Stun," and number of lamps used at once set to 4.

Skills & Pals

For further info go here

For rush purposes I would advise only using tickets on these up to Orange rarity, at which point you have the majority of the quick access ones and it will be best to save for rushes.(Do Not Use Red Gems On These)

The main thing to note with these is not to use Auto Equip
You will want to use stuff that compliments your class, when showcasing potential sets I will split them up for each rarity, if you don’t have something, use something from the set before in its place or use the lower rarity version!

Relics

For further info go here

The best method in the early game is to unlock all your relics first so you can unlock the “Spores” in the middle

Once you get to spores, start with the “Potent Spore” it is generically the better of the bunch especially early on. You will want to wait until after Relics are all unlocked before spending to upgrade them, for upgrading prioritise your Spore and then any Relics you use that have a % increase on their effect.
Upgrading the other relics only do with remaining Shards during rushes and do so equally across them all

For rushes I recommend just getting the mask you need first and then save

Prayer & Tech

For further info go Prayer or Tech

For these I highly recommend reading the info linked above first as there is a lot more info around getting the initial resources

For Prayer you will have a Rush for it when it unlocks so spend it for the first week, each class is looking for a specifc stat so follow along to that. Only lock the highest rarity that you’ve unlocked

For Tech it will be the same for all classes until much later, below are 3 pictures showing how I levelled them. Prioritise the ‘Blue’ side and ATK. DEF will be forced to be levelled to unlock the next step. I recommend doing the first picture at the start and then start saving for rushes following the other 2 pictures and beyond

Skill tree with various icons, each having blue or brown borders and marked as maximum level, connected with yellow lines.
Skill tree from a video game showing six circular skills with icons and maximum level indicators, connected by orange and blue lines. Some skills are marked 'MAX' indicating they are fully upgraded.
Skill tree with various icons indicating abilities and progress, each connected by lines, with some icons marked as MAX and others showing progress like 10/10 or 5/5, in a game interface.

Spending

This stretches the whole journey but gets increasingly more important from the start

Red Gem Spending

Close-up of a sparkling pink and white gemstone against a black background.

With Red Gems in early game, you want to be preservative. Your main thing is your Mount, you will want to get this up to level 7-1 using Red Gems which will likely take the whole journey of Early Game (More Details here)

The Other Priority will be Guardians. Due to Guardians and Event spending it is recommended to have around 20k saved at all times (Don’t worry they come faster and faster as your progress)

White Gem Spending

White Gems are 1:1 with $, you can get these in a few ways but the best is detailed here

There is many different places to spend in this game. I have split this up into two guide;

Early Game Exclusive Spending

White Gem Spending

Cross Server Arena Shop

For further info go here

You will first want to get the ‘Awakening Crystals’ these are important to reach awakening after level 100 and it can take awhile to get all 6 so start as early as possible!

Once you have awakened you want to go for your Pink Souls
(Order to unlock these changes for each class so see these guides above)

To get Pink souls need to buy Red Soul II from this store

You then select to unlock the Soul corresponding to the soul you want to unlock

Shop Focuses

This is the things you will aim for in Family Shop, Family Brawl Shop and Weekend Mode Shop as they will differ after early game -> Once completed use this to see what to buy next: In Game Currency Spending

Family Shop
At the start, I recommend buying Gold, Lamps and Lamp Keys only to push to Eternal gear as quick as possible

Family Brawl Shop
In here your first goal is to buy the skill relevant to your class;

Warrior & Archer → Worldly Snare

Mage → Star Array

Tamer → Winged Dreams

Weekend Modes Shop
In here is the same as Brawl, buy the skill relevant to your class. However in this store you may have 2

Warrior → Hundred Slashes

Archer → Windborne Arrow + Hundred Slashes

Mage → Crimson Moonfall + Hundred Slashes

Tamer → Ancestral Will + Hundred Slashes

Note: Hundred Slashes is a really good skill for all classes however with the way it works (More Details Here) it is not as strong until you have higher stats, roughly Aurous/Eternal gear

Star Arrays - Day 5

For further info go here

What works best here will heavily depend on what you manage to unlock. I will show both what I used and the ideal if you are lucky enough to unlock them early

Make sure to only use these in Rush Events as the rewards are great to get. When they unlock it should already be a rush to get you started!

Avians - Day 7

For further info go here

These are hard to control, use the closest to your classes desired option. I recommend securing 2 desired affixes before levelling as you will lose Fruit if you are to switch without ‘Avian Reset Potions’
For each class I will label which 2 are best to get before levelling

At the start you want to breed the best avians you have with each other (you can also request to breed with server mates). Breeding the better Avians together will give better chance to get more good Avians!

Note: Do Not breed any Avians that have Grey affixes with each other if avoidable

Souls - Day 15

Until you reach Red/Pink souls you cannot reset these, you can however get all your invested essence back when disenchanting them

I will say for each class what the main ones to upgrade are at this point as they will be different to the later versions
Get pushed as far as you can each day in the soul trials to get even more souls and essence. Keep 1 of each soul type at its highest rarity, and keep all reds!

For rushes you will want to save these until each rush, when they first unlock it should already be a rush!

Back Accessory (Tail & Tree) - Day 18

For further info go here

There are two parts to this. The Tails and the Trees

For Tails I recommend starting with ATK for all classes as you are just focusing PVE and the HP and DEF won’t be of as much use. Once the cost starts to get a bit high (Level 30-40) start bringing the other two up 10 at a time to reach each jump, around the 60 mark you will start to prioritise

For the Trees, you are able to use 1 Branch from each Tree, I recommend just starting with getting all the base stats to 10, afterwards you can follow what I did for each class

Artifacts (Enchantments) - Day 26

For further info go here

Just make sure not level any above level 10 until you’re happy as that’s when the returning essence starts to get lower

Divining - Day 31

For further info go here

When this unlocks the main goal is just to get everything unlocked. Only roll till the end of each “Branch” and then move on. The first Path “Life Path” you jsut want to get specifc stats for each class, this I will go over for each class. Once Life Path is finished you can aim for the stats recommeneded in the guides!

There is a rush for this, and it’s not a huge increase straight away so just wait for the rushes as you don’t want to miss the extra rewards!

Guardians - Day 41

For further info go here

You won’t be able to get that high of a rarity straight away from here. I will show the best guardians to use for each class up to Purple Rarity

Use 15k Red Gems per day to get your Summon Stones built up, remember to save these for Rushes. In between rushes just use the 2 free ones a day to get started

The main source to earn Summoning Stones and Remold Tokens is through ‘Drakebone Sanctum’ (More details here), this event will occur the week after unlocking Guardians
