Early Game Guide - Mage

This is the Early Game guide for Mage. It contains basic information for all builds and then some specific builds to help you start!

Foundations

These are the foundations to all the builds!

Gear

The Gear you need for these builds is Skill Crit

Once you get all Skill Crit I would start adding Stun in

Prayer

You want 5x Global ATK at your highest available rarity
(Boss DMG for PVE)

Souls

PVP:
ATK > HP > Crit Res
Crit DMG > Batk DMG before or after HP once they’re Pink

PVE:
ATK
Combo DMG > ATK > Crit DMG > Batk DMG once they’re Pink

Pink Soul Order:
Crit DMG > ATK > Batk DMG > HP > DEF

Avians

Avians:
Dense Cloud → This is great for PVE or long PVP

Pumpkin Witch → This is good for high damage PVE or PVP

Affixes (PVP):
Talent Skill → This is an easy affix to start with

Multi-Talented, Inert Gas, Self-Centered → I would aim for these next

Barrel Dodge → Also not bad

Runes

There is not much change between PVP and PVE for these

For both I would go for 4x Skill DMG and 2x Crit Res

On each rune you want Pink Skill Crit DMG - Or Stun if you aim for a Stun build

For the secondaries, the left side will always be the same 3
However on the right they can change;

Top Right (Rune 4) → Skill DMG

Middle Right (Rune 5) → Combo/Counter/Pal DMG Res all work (PVP) or Batk DMG Res (PVE)
I would prioritise Combo/Pal for PVP

Bottom Right (Rune 6) → Crit Res/Skill Res (PVP) or Boss DMG(PVE)

Rune positions are most important. Having Pink runes on 1, 4, 5 and 6 with the above secondaries is important

Divining

Life Path
Your main obejective here will be Global ATK as there is an unfortunate lack of choices for you

World Path
Pierce is your main thing from here
After this you can get some defensive stats like Ignore Combo

Guardian

The main ones Early Game are the Energy Regen SPD ones so I recommend getting these

Remold Priorities -> Global ATK/Ignore Combo as there is an unfortunate lack of options here also

Resource Allocation

Where to put your resources in Tech / Feathers / Sacred Tree?
