October 2nd - Event Review - Ancient Road Mysteries
Event Reviews are compilations of mine and others thoughts from across the discord, if you believe any is wrong or have anything else to add please reach out!
The Ancient Road Mysteries Event was released on the 2nd October and ended the 8th October
It features 2 new items; Floral Elegy (Artifact), World Tree (Back)
The designs are pretty cool though unsure I am of the effects
Floral Elegy - 1000 Spins - 10% Global ATK
Summary: Enhances Regen effects at the start of battle while converting a portion of incoming damage into stored energy
After a delay, the stored damage is unleashed over time against both you and all enemies, ignoring immunity effects

PVP
Generally this looks like it could have some use all over though I don’t know if it would become ‘bis’ for anyone

Could have some use but a needs-to-be-tested one - Reviews written pre-release
World Tree - 500 Spins - 10% Global DEF
Summary: Periodically summons Yggdrasil Shelter to grant a protective shield and build up Flourishing stacks, steadily increasing ATK throughout the battle
Once fully empowered, each shelter release deals Max HP-based damage to all enemies and significantly weakens their combat speed attributes

PVP
For a tank this could be pretty good in long fights however vs items like Rollie it could potentially be too high of a trade off if fight length is uncertain - Needs like 30-60s start doing the reductions so it is just a slow Phoenix before this

Could be good though I personally read more risk with fight lengths - Reviews written pre-release
Returning Items
Fate
This is by far one of the best PVE artifact for Warbringer, Plume and Beastmaster so already is ‘worth’ getting
Can also be used in Anti Regen for all 3 above classes too

Azure Guardian Blade
It’s like a worse Fate I think. Still to this day I am yet to hear positive words about it
