Early Game Guide
This is the point most people will get stuck, you’re just starting out and there’s a lot to learn so I get it. This walkthrough is aimed at anyone going from level 1 to level 120 at which point you should have everything unlocked and be ready to use the traditional guides. I will go through the main parts that you will see in this journey, the full feature details are in (Coming soon Complete LoM Guide) so check that out as well!
This section is just based around what you want to do as each class at this point. I will start by going over the “Best” method, then I will go through the generic features, what do to do when they unlock and a few tips. At the end I will go through sets to use as each rarity and all the class specific details!
When making this part of the guide I figured the best way to give good advice would be to play the early game while I write it up. As I am writing I have 4 accounts playing through the early game, one for each of the 4 main classes (Warrior, Archer, Tamer, Mage)
(I also have noted each early game exclusive spending opportunity while doing this and will cover this at the very end for those who wish to spend)
Note: This guide is only focucssed at getting you through the main Campaign PVE to push, for more details on PVP go to the guides I have linked in Class Overviews :)
What are the choices? What is the “Best”?
There are 4 main choices at this point, Archer (Plume), Warrior (Warbringer), Mage (Prophet) and Tamer (Beastmaster). The overall best early game class is Archer as this will maintain the strongest in PVE and if you want to just go for one class for awhile I would recommend this one for that reason
The Best?
Well this isn’t as straightforward right at the start, or ever really. But there is a method that I have tested a few times that seems to provide a good edge at the start. For this you will want to follow the mage guide up until level 70 at which point you want to change to archer, to make best use of this you will want to collect everything you need for archer and collect both Mage and Archer gear. Once you switch you will go exclusively off the Archer progress until eventually completing the “Dark-Trials” dungeon
