Mage

This class performs great for a while compared to the others, however eventually it was heavily overtaken and started to get stuck a lot

Gear

Screenshot of an in-game item description for Legendary Lion Heart Kneepads showing stats like HP, ATK, DEF, Skill Crit, and Stun.

As shown above, your two desired affixes are Skill crit & Stun

Skills & Pals

As a Mage you are just looking to take advantage of high skill damage by using the higher rarity skills. However your damage is slow so as you move forward you want to incorporate slows and stuns to keep alive

Blue & Below

Screenshot of a game interface showing two teams of characters labeled 'Mage_Blue'. The top team includes a black creature with gray details, a yellow creature with orange elements, a purple creature with multiple appendages, a beige creature with glasses, and a green creature with a yellow symbol. The bottom team features a red dragon, a pink fluffy creature, a white cat with closed eyes, a pink creature with heart-shaped eyes, and a brown and white dog.

Skills: Just using the highest Level/Rarity skills for the Skill DMG

Pals: This is the arrangement I will keep mostly, Fortune Dragon is great for bonus Skill Crit DMG. The Sprite and Hydrosprite are to keep dps as high as possible. The Cat is just an extra, its damage is not super high but there’s nothing better imo (You could use Snow Sprite or Snail if theyre needed). Deer is to help keep alive as between skill rounds we lack damage

Purple & Below

An in-game screenshot showing two teams of fantasy creatures labeled 'Mage_Purple' in a mobile game. The top team has six characters at levels 99, 98, 97, 169, and 168, featuring purple and green sprites. The bottom team has five characters at levels 1, 87, 50, 48, and 52, with colorful fantasy designs.

Skills: Just upgrading to the next rarity

Pals: Just upgrading to the next rarity

Yellow & Below

Screenshot of a mobile game showing two lists of characters named "Mage_Yellow". The characters include various fantasy creatures with their levels displayed below them. The top row has characters at levels 45, 47, 99, 98, and 97. The bottom row has characters at levels 1, 18, 18, 19, and 19.

Skills: Just upgrading to the next rarity

Pals: Just upgrading to the next rarity

Orange & Below

Screenshot of a mobile game interface showing two teams of fantasy characters with levels, including Pokémon-style creatures and other cute monsters.

Skills: With Oranges there is a few to pick from, I found keeping Shroom Shield was really helpful and that my Batty Trace was dealing slightly more damage then the oranges. The oranges I picked as 2 will help me stay alive (Easy Breezy and Durian Bomb) and Meteor Fall to boost the Skill DMG

Pals: Just upgrading to the next rarity

Red & Below

Screenshot of a game interface showing two rows of character icons. Each icon has a level indicator, with some levels being high and others low. There are handwritten notes indicating 'delay' with arrows pointing to two icons in the top row.

Skills: This is where the Skills pure damage started to trickle off for me, I used a delay on Dazzled for when I started to take damage and Disarm 1s after Dazzled. I thought to keep Durian Bomb on instead of Thorns but the regen speed of Durian was too long for its damage to compensate

Pals: Just upgrading to the next rarity

Pink & Below

Screenshot of a game screen showing two sets of characters labeled "Mage_Pink," with various levels and icons, and a handwritten note with an arrow pointing to a purple icon mentioning "delay."

Skills: I started to use a slow approach now as bosses had just a little too much HP, Delay of 2s on Pearl to seperate it from Thorns Thicket. Blitz doiubles as damage and sustainability. Star Array is great to boost Skill Crit DMG and Rate so get this as soon as possible!

Pals: As I wanted to run slow I swapped the Cat for Snail to increase Movement Speed Reduction. I also wasnt having to spend as long taking damage (Especally with my stun %) so Alpine Fox was working great over Deer

Relics

A collection of magical or mystical items arranged on a green background, each with levels ranging from 1 to 74. The items include a red dragon mask, a purple and gold umbrella, a purple pouch, a blue orb with lightning, a brown box, a golden book with a face, a sword, and a gold ring with a red gem.
In-game screenshot of a crystal statue with a blue gemstone on top, mounted on a gold-colored pedestal, labeled as Level 1/150, from a game interface.
A digital game screen showing a clock with a pencil as the clock's hand, labeled as 'Time Statue,' at level 1 out of 150.
In-game illustration of a stellar statue with a blue star inside a orbiting ring, labeled as Level 1 out of 150.

Your focus for upgrading Relics will be the Kite to increase the Skill DMG output
Switch to Crystal Statue at Orange Skills
Switch to Time Statue at Red Skills
Switch to Stellar Statue at Pink Skills

Prayer

As shown below, the affix you’re after is x5 ATK - Can switch to x5 Boss DMG for PVE later

Video game statistics showing different levels of attack with percentages and lock icons for each entry.

Star Arrays

What I used

The Ideal

Game interface screen displaying Star Array Skill Effects, including main and support skills with details on their effects and activation.
Screenshot of a game interface titled "Star Array Skill Effects," showing three active skills: Void Guide, Holy Defender, and Stoneborn Warrior, with their descriptions and costs.

I was fairly lucky here. There are a few arrangements you could use, anything with Skill DMG will do nicely. Ideally The Holy defender set up would have been nice with its DMG Res reduction

Avians

The Priority Affix

Blue banner with white text reading 'Talent Skill'

This affix is what I recommend gtting before levelling. If you can get one of the Purple Skill Crit affixes thats even better but they are harder to come across. The avian counts for less but if you can get Cloud/Pumpkin/Magic Cat thats even better!

Souls

The priority order will be -> ATK -> HP (If needed)

Note: Before reaching Red/Pink souls you can’t reset and only disenchant so be cautious. Levels are subject to you so see what split works best for you

Back Accessory (Tree)

A cute cartoon kitten dressed as a wizard with a purple hat and cloak, holding a glowing purple magical staff, surrounded by purple magical sparks, labeled "Magic Kitten."
Animated owl dressed as a wizard or mentor, wearing a crown and eyepiece, holding a book and a staff, with a glowing blue aura, labeled 'Occult Mentor'.
Video game skill tree screen showing the 'Archery' talent branch with three active skills marked with red dots, and other skills locked. The player's current level is 5, and the branch is upgraded to level 5. Text at the bottom indicates that up to four talent branches can be activated.
Screenshot of a talent development system within a video game, showing a skill tree with nodes for Fury, Archery, Sorcery, and Tame Beasts, with some nodes unlocked and others locked, and a message at the bottom indicating activation of up to four talent branches.
Screenshot of a game skill tree interface with categories Fury, Archery, Sorcery, and Tame Beasts, showing various talents and levels, with some talents marked as maxed out or in progress, and a message indicating you can activate up to four talent branches.
Video game skill upgrade tree with tabs labeled Fury, Archery, Sorcery, Tame Beasts. The Sorcery tab is active, showing multiple interconnected icons: a sword with ratings 5/20, 10/40, and 10/40, a health icon with 10/40, a skull icon, and one with a helmet and 0/20, and other icons with ratings 5/20. A message at the bottom states: 'You can activate Final Talents of up to 4 talent branches.'

Once you have enough to reach the Nodes I went to, these are the ones you want. Keep them equal as they’re all going to be worth around the same amount to you
Keep base stats equal with each other and just get them to 10/40 and the Skill Crit DMG/Skill DMG to 20/20 over time

Divining

Your main obejective for Life Path will be Global ATK as there is an unfortunate lack of choices

Guardian

Green

Blue

Purple

A fantasy character called Curse Priest, depicted as an animated lion wearing dark armor with glowing blue accents, surrounded by a blue aura, in a castle-like background.

The main ones Early Game are the Energy Regen SPD ones so I recommend getting these

Remold Priorities -> Global ATK as there is unfortunately nothing better
