Below are links to each build, PVP and each PVE type;
Slow, Stun, DPS and Dark trials

Early Game Tips

When you have just started out you won’t have all the pals/skills etc for the below builds, here is my advice for you

  1. Build as much as you can of the normal builds (you’re going to get to them eventually anyway)

  2. For any pals you don’t have, locate a lower rarity version (i.e if you need a Red Bird then use an orange or Yellow etc)

  3. If you don’t have all the skills (or any suggested changes) then you can fill in the gaps with some of the highest rarity you have (Early on skills do a lot of your damage)

  4. In Lava/Theater you can use Disarm/Take it Slow or other CC skills to stay alive and push your score further!

  5. Don’t use Hundred slashes till you’re around Aurous/Eternal gear as you may not have the stats required (More details here)

For Early game help and builds refer to the Early Game guide!

PVP

PVP build variate a lot depending on opponents, you may want to have “anti” builds later on as you face multiple classes

Below is a Generic build with changes you can make across many situations, use this to try make your Anti builds for Warbringer/Beastmaster/Plume Monarch/Mages if needed

After I will share an Anti-Regen build with some alterations you can make dependant what you fight. This build is quite different in terms of the Back Tree Talents etc that you will be using so I will go into more specifc details with it

Generic - Vs DPS

Screenshot of a mobile game inventory showing various characters and items organized in rows with names, levels, and different icons.

This is a generic base, below are changes you can make to suit more against certain classes/in certain situations

Skills Changes

  • The only skill you can’t change is Blitz

  • Disarm -> With the Leaf Fox card disarm is not always needed

Skills Options

  • Worldly Snare -> If you’re under 100% Crit Rate and/or under 4.5k Crit DMG, Worldly can be great

  • Clone Strike -> Can help to block Cheetahs and Mage skills

  • Wild Gust/Speed Surge -> To be more aggressive

  • Take it Slow -> Vs Plumes this can be good if more defensive needed

Pals Changes

  • The only pal you can’t change is Treasure Dragon (or Fortune Dragon early game)

  • Bird -> Against Warbringers I would recommend changing this

  • Angel Deer -> Vs MS/SH this is not needed as they do HP DMG so you can remove it here

Pals Options

  • Eggplant/Banana -> Can be good if you’re under 100% of either rate

  • Moonlit Lonewolf -> Vs regens this can be quite important

  • Specter -> If your fight goes to 2nd skill release this is a great addition

  • Mushroom Burglar -> Increases Own ATK and decreases Opponents ATK, not a bad choice for Vs DPS

  • Serpent Spring -> Can be good vs tankier players

  • Benny -> Launch can be good especially Vs Plumes

Relic Changes

  • Crit Mask -> Combo Mask - If lacking Combo more

  • Spirit Necklace -> Storm Necklace - If using Clone Strike

  • Flame Book -> Stonewrite Tome - If more survivability needed

  • Time Statue ->
Cage Statue - If more reduction for Easy Breezy or Take it Slow needed
    Stellar Statue - More Aggressive

Slow Build

Screenshot of a game inventory showing various characters and items organized into three tiers, with characters at levels ranging from 3 to 102 and items from level 72 to 99.

This build can be used for Monsters, Bosses, Soul Trials, Molten Ruins, Ruined Ancient City, Chrono Tower and Cloud Ascension. However you may want to make some slight alterations SO, below are all the changes you could make:

Skill Changes:

  • If you don’t slow enough try adding any of these; Dazzled, Entangling Vines, Durian Bomb

  • Pearl Release -> Clone Strike - Higher HP bosses will likely require a Clone

Pal Changes:

  • Rabbid -> Fortune Envoy/Other DPS options - If not owned or have Glory Glow (or 5* Frost Mirage)

  • Treasure Dragon -> Fortune Dragon - If not owned

Relic Changes:

  • Crit Mask -> Combo Mask - If you need more Combo

  • Time Statue -> Stellar Statue - Stellar ‘can’ work better sometimes

  • Potent Spore -> Chrono Spore - If more time needed

For this set I would use a delay on Pearl of 2s

If using this set with Clone instead of Pearl use between 0 and 2s delay on Thorns Thicket

(This set “can” work in Dark trials if achieveing 100% Slow)

Stun Build

Screenshot of a game inventory showing three rows of characters and items, with various levels and some slots marked as empty.

I would use this build for Flame Temple, Sacred Tree and potentially Ranged Bosses if your Clone dies (Stages 6-8)

Skill Changes:

  • You can use Blitz if needed - Set all delays to just as blitz ends

Pal Changes:

  • Fortune Envoy -> Any other DPS option - If not owned

  • Treasure Dragon -> Fortune Dragon - If not owned

Relic Changes:

  • Crit Mask -> Combo Mask - If you need more Combo

  • Flame Book -> Immunity Book - If you die

  • Potent Spore -> Chrono Spore - If more time needed

Use delays on Disarm and Dazzled like so:

Dazzled - 1.5s - Disarm - 2.5s

Move these if needed to prevent your clone dying - You can also delay clone to just after Disarm loads (around 1s)

(This set “can” work in Dark trials)

Note: If you want to use this on campaign bosses you can use the slow build pals and change speed surge to thorns thicket to have it as a hybrid!

DPS Build

Screenshot of a game inventory showing multiple characters and items, organized into three sections with levels and empty slots.

This set is used anywhere you can survive/just need to pour as much damage in as possible. For example, Lava Behemoth, Lamp Theif, Theater and Snow Crisis

Skill Changes:

  • Wild Gust -> Take it Slow - For longer survival

Pal Changes:

  • Snake -> Gingerbread - If under 240% Boss DMG

  • P2W Pals -> Banana/Eggplant - If you need Combo/Crit
Mecha Dragon - If not owned

  • Treasure Dragon -> Fortune Dragon - If not owned

Relic Changes:

  • Crit Mask -> Combo Mask - If you need more Combo

  • Flame Book -> Beasthide Book - If under 200% Boss DMG

  • Time Statue -> Stellar Statue - Stellar ‘can’ work better sometimes

  • Chrono Spore -> Potent Spore - If you don’t survive full timer

Dark Trials

Screenshot of a mobile game inventory screen showing various characters, items, and equipment with levels, organized in three rows with empty slots labeled "Empty".

If you have access to Frost Mirage or Glory Glow you shold be able to get away with using the Slow Build - except against the Tamer Boss
(For missing items refer to the above sections)

Archer Boss and Mage Boss

For these two you can use the build on the left using these delays:

Disarm 4s - Dazzled 3s - Clone Strike 3.5s - Smoke Bomb 4s - Blitz 1s
(Adjust if necessary to prevent their skills damaging you)

The idea with this set is to do all your damage through a fully protected clone

Warrior Boss

For this, Dazzled and Disarm won’t work. You can use DPS skills as replacements. Delay all skills to as soon as the Warriors shield fades, this allows you to kill them the second it goes away
(If you take too much damage use Easy Breezy)

Tamer Boss

For this one use the same DPS orientated set as WB but without the delays
