Items are very hard to state accurately what ‘will’ work best in different areas. I will list what I believe to be the ‘BIS’ and some alternatives. Some I do know work in specific build set-ups and for those I will specify also

Artifacts
F2P
Chaotic Warlord’s Hammer
This is the best of the F2P artifacts for AoE situations such as Campaing Monsters, Cloud Ascension and Ancient City
Candy Gatling
This is the best of the F2P artifacts for Single Target situations
P2W
Chrono Loop
This is the best Artifact for DPS vs DPS, especially if your opponent has it
Fate
This is the best for PVE and can also be used in Anti Regen to help stack up a big final blow to the opponent
Beastroar Bow
Great for PVP and PVE. In PVE it only loses to Fate in Single Target modes. Can be good in PVP unless vs a DPS with Chrono Loop
Castle Candelabrum
Good in any situation you take damage, as long as you can heal more then the damage taken
Mounts
F2P
Boom Da Bang
This is one of the best PVE mounts for F2P and P2W
Pyrebreaker
Great starting mount for all players in PVE and PVP especially as it’s so quick to unlock
Once you have Boom Da Bang it won’t be needed as much
Magic Carpet
Can be good in PVE, has chance to spawn an extra clone
Horizon Racer
Can be good for PVE for boss fights as it pushes the boss back
Cloud Drifter
Great for early PVE Plume for extra ATK stacking!
Blue OX
This is the best F2P PVP mount, with its control effects it helps reduce the debuff from Disarm!
P2W
Cheetah
This is by far the best DPS vs DPS mounts
Silvery Crescent
Second best to Cheetah. However you can using Blue Sorcery node to try get a final Blitz draw giving you an edge over an opposing Cheetah
Sacntuary Warmth
This is good for both vs DPS and vs Regen in PVP. It functions as a spread out Cheetah with more bonuses through the fight + Cleanse!
Gator Menace
This is one of the best PVE Mounts available, only loses to Empyria in areas where Crit Res is used and is beaten by around 5%-15%
Cinder Wolf
Can be great vs Regen, especially when paired with Fate to bring a big kill or be killed finale
Phoenix
Very good in PVP vs tanks, especially against SH with it’s cleanse. Can also be used vs DPS but needs a 2nd Blitz
Empyria
This is the one of the other best PVE mounts alongside Gator Menace, often only losing to it when the boss uses Crit Res
Back Accesories
F2P
Emerald Embrace
The only properly useable F2P back accessory
Ghost Behind
When using it try to delay skills such as Clone to 0.5s or 1s so you can get 1 Evasion first for the boost!
P2W
Alien Dimension
One of the best for PVP, also very useable in PVE
Resolute Soul
Can be great for those who don’t have Alien Dimension in PVP. Also useable in PVP if you die
Trapped Wrath
Perfect match if you use Castle Candelabrum, performing attacks super quick and procs Candle to heal more!
Glory Glow
This is one of the best PVE backs, with slows + other bonuses. Using this allows more freedom in your slow build while keeping 100% slow
Frost Mirage
This works similarly to Glory, it is however a lower Slow % so cannot grant 100% unless 5* or you have Rabbid Pal
