Red Gems

This to me is an important subject as I have seen all too many people waste away Red Gems on things that aren’t worth the cost (Including myself early on)

Red Gems are easily picked up for doing your daily claims and spending in Events, as the game goes on you will notice you start to collect more and more overtime

There is one rule before I talk about the Dos and Don’ts, it is always a great idea to have around 20k Red Gems spare at all times for Events
In Bi-Weekly Spinners you can spend 15k Red Gems for the Event ‘token’ as shown below. Another reason for having spare is Cross Server Showdown if you need to go for another run or switch class

Standards

These are the things you will be focussing with all remaining Red Gems after daily spending

First: Clock Winders (Mount)

The first thing you want to focus on is your Mount
You want to focus this until level 7-1 (37,820 Clock Winders), do buy these you go into the store as shown further down on this page, it costs 35,000 Gems per 1,000 Clock Winders (1,330,000 Red Gems)

The jump all the way to 7-1 is incredibly high for the low cost however, after this point it isn’t worth it. Once you have reached it you want to change your focus to:

Second: Souls

Souls are next on your priority list, it is heavily undecided how ‘worth’ these can be however I don’t think there is much else you can buy at this point

It costs 8,000 Gems for 10 Soul Crystal which you can pay in the spinner as shown

The value for these exists up to around Level 70 so you can look to swap afterwards, if you’re a Mage or Tamer you will want to switch off Souls, around level 60/70 on your main souls, to:

Third: Skill Tickets/Pal Tickets

This is mainly for Mages (Skill) and Tamers (Pal) however, if you feel you’re starting to waste Red Gems on Souls you can come to these too after reaching 70+ on Soul levels

Why? Mages and Tamers use these as their main sources of damage, as such you use stats which multiply the damage these do. Every level on a Pal or Skill increases its base damage and so even more damage for you!

Why should others? If you get to a certain point with souls you may want to do these for the passive bonuses, more Passives + Souls = MORE STATS!

Dos

These are the things you should be doing daily/weekly

Family Donation

This only costs 220 a day and should be done every day until your Family reaches level 15, it isn’t necessary after this point as you’re only doing it to boost the XP
(The medals are good early but are small compared to what you will get later on)

Shroomie Farm

You should buy 5 Seeds (300 Gems) and 5 Fertiliser (880 Gems), this is where the cost is cheapest and just helps you keep stocked up to complete your Bountiful Harvests each week

Milk Tea (Affinity)

This costs only 600 Red Gems per day and increases the affinity by 50
Your goal is to get to 150k Affinity so every source is welcomed

Guardian Summon Stones

The cost for these is a little steeper at 15k per day however, it can take a very long time to reach the higher rarity Guardians so it is still worth spending on these each day

Nightmare Keys

These become available after reaching level 150 of the Lamp Thief
It is 1,000 Red Gems per week for a whole bunch of resources so most certainly worth it

Guess Coins

These are the currency used to bet on Shroomie Tournament, if you bet right you can multiply these a lot and they change to Guess Points at the end of the Event which can then be used in the Tournament store

(This is an optional purchase as you need to remember to bet with them for it to be worth!)

Don’ts

These are things I don’t recommend spending on/should never be spent on

Avian Resetting

You should never reset an Avian in this way, it loses 20% of the Uku fruit you used and costs 3,000 Gems
Instead, look for an Avian Reset Potion in some of the stores

Same goes for resetting an Avians name, it costs 3,000 Gems - just don’t do it

Arena Challenge-Tickets

You should never buy the ones for within your own server, it costs 600 in total for all 5 and the rewards earnt from doing the attacks are nothing special

It is not advised to spend Red Gems on Cross-Server Tickets either, however if you choose you want to only buy 3 within 1 Day
3 will cost you 240 Gems after that it’s 640 for 4 and 1440 for 5

Note: You can stock up Cross-Server tickets for an easy high placement by attacking last second

Changing Class

If avoidable don’t use Red Gems on class changes, there are “Class Reset Scrolls” available in a couple shops which are a much better option

Pack & Resources Shop

This is the Shop in the bottom Right corner of your home screen, there is not much we want to get from here but i’ll cover everything you can get

Under specific conditions

Gatcha
If all 3 of these conditions apply to you then you can start to put majority of your Red Gems into the Gatcha (After doing daily/Weekly spends)

  1. You’re a Tamer (Pal Tickets) or Mage (Skill Tickets)

  2. Until you have finished getting your Mount to level 7-1

  3. Your main soul is around level 60

If none of these apply to you then you shouldn’t spend any Gems in here, even early game it isn’t worth it

If you are a non-mage/tamer and your souls are in the 70+ region you can look at switching to Pal Tickets/Skill Tickets for the base stats (Assuming your levels are low on these to be able to get the increase for low cost)

Clock Winders
This will be your primary place to spend Gems until your mount is level 7-1, at this point you should not spend anymore in here

The boosts up to 7-1 are quite high and the cost is low, however after 7-1 it gets a lot higher cost for lower increase:

From 6-1 to 7-1
Cost: 30,620
Stat Increase: +31,770% -> Increase of 175%

From 7-1 to 8-1
Cost: 208,440
Stat Increase: +37,180 -> Increase of 75%

Don’ts

I include this here as it’s in the same shop
There are better ways to get Red Gems using money then this

These should never be needed enough to waste Red Gems on, if you are a whale pushing tech is the only time you may have use but I haven’t ran out of tickets in over a year so these aren’t needed

This is another wasteful expense, the only time Gold is desperately needed is in Early Game while pushing for Eternal Gear. However there are many better ways to spend for Gold in Early Game that will provide a bigger output
