Sailing Season

When you open up sailing, it will look like this:

Event Timeline & Simple Strategy

Big thing I always recommend is to keep your repair kits until Prison fight, this is where you will be drained the most!

Monday -> Tuesday
For this time period you will just have a couple level 1 resources to grab and access to the Ruins
You want to grab all the resources and then keep doing ruins for the first day until the next set of things unlock

Tuesday -> Wednesday
On Tuesday at 10:00 several more resources will open alongside a Totem
You want to do the same thing as the day before however, stop doing Ruins before midnight on the Tuesday as you want to get back to full Durability by 10:00 on Wednesday!

Wednesday -> Saturday
At 10:00 on Wednesday the Level 3 Resources will open up on both sides allowing PVP
After this point your focus is on holding ground and getting as many points from PVP as possible!

Saturday -> Sunday
At 10:00 on Saturday Prison will open
The server who hold prison for the first 10 minutes get a reward, so you want as many players active for its open as possible. After this you want to be keeping Prison as long as possible to gain more Server Merit!!

Features

There’s a lot going on so I will split it up

Here you have your Character Details. You can see you Ships Combat Power, Durability and Wound Status (Debuffs)

Durability
This refreshs slowly overtime, but you can only replenish while in the Camp. Your maximum Durability is based on your highest achieved power outside of sailing (How to boost this)
When you fight ‘Guards’ you will lose Durability, the amount lost will be how much they have. If you are fighting a player you lose Durability based on % hp lost
When you reach 0 you will go back to Camp, all durability lost will be converted into Merits (Applied to both personal and server)

Note: Attacking Ruins is a purely a conversion of all your current Durability into Merit as it will take it all

Wound Status
When defeated you gain 1 stack of Wound, this increases the minimum durability requirement for you to be able to leave Camp. You can have a maximum of 6 Stacks of wound and it lasts for 30 minutes, if you are defeated again during the timer it will reset back to 30 minutes

Underneath Character details you have “Rank” and “Maritime Handbook”

Handbook
This quite simply a list of rules and details on each sailing block if you want to familiarise yourself with how to the mode works! The important rules to note are; You may only move 999 times per day (Counter will show once you have moved 500 times) and there is a Ceasfire between 02:00 to 06:00 server time, the only thing you can do is sail back to base

Rankings
In Rank you have Personal and Server rankings, the rewards from this mode are quite good so I recommend giving your best shot!

Camp
Your Camp is essentially a safe space. You can’t be attacked here and you can only refresh your Durability here

Mini-Map
This shows you who has the most area by adding their colours to the spots they own. If you click anywhere on the map it will move your camera to there

Search
This allows you to quickly find different blocks!

Camera
Allows you to zoom in and out

Map Earnings & Port Supply
In here you have “Map Earnings” and “Port Supply”
Map Earnings will just fill up over time with rewards based on the tiles owned so just remember to collect every so often
Port Supply is a bit different, every time a player purchases a pack ‘Timber’ is added here to be claimed
Every so much Timber claimed server wide will upgrade the Port giving more ‘Repair Kits’
It’s a nice way for the whole server to benefit from someones spending so just remember to claim it!

Task
In here you have ‘Tasks” which is simply a list of tasks to complete each day for extra rewards
“Target” is daily server wide tasks to complete, these often come alongside another area of the map opening up (The Occupy targets for resources are contributed on by all the servers so if there is less than 4 you will have to wait on completing them till all the map is open)
Last is “Bounty”, any player with a 5 or more kill streak gets put on the bounty board, killing them will give more resources

Achievement
This is a Merit milestone set, you can get a nice chunk of Awakening Scrolls in here as well as ‘Tidal Conchs" which are used to upgrade your ‘Poseidon’s Blessing’

Battle Log
All battles both with Guards and Players will show in here. This is where you can see how much Durability you lose or take off when fighting player, I recommend trying to mental note these numbers on frequent opponents so you can have a better idea of your situation!

Position
This will move your camera back to your position

Port
Covered separately below

Repair
When you’re at base camp you can come in here and tap Repair to fully restore your durability. You can also click the little plus at the top to use repair kits
If your power has gone up you will be able to click “sync” to gain durability to match”
When using repair kits, it can sometimes be useful to only use a few at a time. Why? Well if you go into a battle that you win, but they take off lots of your dura you are gaining less Merit per dura lost. If you only went into that battle with the minimum to leave Camp you could gain more Merits per dura!

Shop
There are two shops in here, Pirate Shop and Marine Treasure. I have gone over what to get from these in here

Supply
This is where you can spend White Gems on repair kits and speed ups, I have gone over the value of these in here. But in summary I would never recommend getting the Speed up kits

Port

Flagship
The main screen in here is like the Magic lamp, upgrade the level, set it to auto and roll for better equipment

If you click the small icon between the Forge and the Gear, you can view/select and upgrade your boats! these give some passive effects for out of sea so a nice bonus. During sea you will want to pick the boat that has the best Active effects (On red boats they have a skill so use the best for you once unlocked as these also work out of Sea!)

Morph
This is where you can customise your ship, there’s no bonuses from this so it isn’t important

Battleship Draw
This is where you can use your tickets to unlock more ships. You can spend in here however the bonsues from the ships aren’t high enough to justify spending any money on it. Once ships are max levelled there is a ‘Remenant Exchange” you can scrap duplicates in and get extra rewards

Maritime Academy
In here you have your ‘Poseidon’s blessing’ and ‘Crew’. The % gained within posideon’s blessing doesn’t reset and is applied to your character outside of sailing, however the % gain is negligible so don’t worry about this too much

In ‘Captain’ is where you can see your stats

In Crew you will want to set it up just like you would normally in terms of skills. In terms of Pals you should just use the best ones in your normal set up, tamers will get 1 extra slot
For Necro/Supreme it is only your actual preset that affects your class passives and not these ones in the boat!

Repair Spot
In here is where you can increase the amount of Durability you earn over time so remember to go and click “Quick Build” every so often!

Tactic Center
You will use “Marine Data” to upgrade different tactics
I recommend having “Improvise” on when you are out of PVP, as this will increase your repair point yield
During PVP I recommend using either “Rising Morale” (If you’re winning) or “Ship Salvage” (If you’re losing), you can get some others in different situations however these are the main ones in my opinion!

Note: You can also set these up as presets to switch between them!
